♫I guess he's not!

By this morning the NSTP-CWTS groups were assigned to there respected area for the accomplishment of our project, most of us were assigned at Doña Pilar Elementary School. Our project (as an IT student) is to impart our future student about BASIC COMPUTER LITERACY. Well, on the first day of our emersion is to gather student (kids) who is willing to learn about computer, unfortunately (maybe) we are already assigned on 1 section of Grade 6 pupils, but they are devided into 2 groups for they are so many, fortunately another group of CWTS take them as there student. Then after the devision we started our little discussion, we introduced ourselves to them and so they are. At first they were shy but later they are not! Argh! you know what I mean, kids usualy act like that so we just calm oursleves and try to cope them up.

Later on, our first activity had started, we are given forms to gather information about there family, there selves, the kind of living, etc. Each member of our group were assigned to each student to have an interview with.

(This is it!) I was assigned on Jeffrey Moreno, 15 years old, born at Sarangani Province. I asked him a lot of questions about his family, and the way they live. But when we arrive to make a testimony to his self, suddenly a sad eyes gaze at me, at this moment I knew it already that there is something wrong, or a sad story or something. At first he answered me in a confident way like "gwapo ko" ("I am handsome") then he laugh, he is thinking deeply that he answers my question hesitatingly. When I ask him, why he's here in Davao while his whole family was in there province at Sarangani, he answered that since Grade 1 to Grade 4 he's with his family, his parents carried him here in Davao City with the expectation of just to have visit on his aunty, but when the time that they have to go back home her parents told him to stay because they are lack of fare for bus. So he was left with his aunty at Bankerohan, from Grade 5 to now (Grade 6)  he's currently living with his aunty. He also told me that he is just a burden to his family because his father always scolded him and also the reason why his family left him here in Davao. But I told him it was'nt the reason why his here, his here because his parents love him so much, that he is handed over his aunty for him to take education. I just felt sad because in that age he feels like he's not important which will soon lead him to rebel, to be easily influence by bad people out there. Hope this project will not just give them knowledge about computer, at the same time change the way they expresses life.
