What a luck! I must say to the "Budol Budol Gang" who had victimized my sister and her classmate Mechelle last Friday, January 16, 2009.
My sister said it was around 4:30pm after they went to Red Cross Philippines to get enrolled as a volunteer. After that they planned to go to Gaisano Mall of Davao and plan to take a walk, my sister insisted that they should ride a jeepney through there 'coz it's kinda way too far, but Mechelle persisted for the reason that they want to save money.
Later on a woman approach them asking if where she could get a truck to rent with because they got stranded at Jade Valley, my sister told the woman that they don't know where to get one and adviced the woman to ask some jeepney drivers that will pass by. A few minutes later a man approached them carrying an envelope with a 10 thousand pesoses inside not knowing that it is just a news paper folded like a money, however a real 100 pesos is included.
They forgot what had happened next, they say that it happens so fast that they were not enable to think of it is just a scam or they were just fooled by them.
Then a woman talk to them gently like they are under "hypnotism" (actually they are!) asking them to give what they want, the woman told Mechelle to take her necklace off and give it to her, then my sister hit the foot of Mechelle saying not to give it, but when the woman asked my sister to give her her cellphone she give it like no doubt.
After the "Budol Budol Gang" take the 3 gold rings and the gold necklace of Mechelle in a total of more or less 11 thousand pesos and cellphone of my sister, they left my sister and Mechelle standing in one place not knowing what happened.
After a few minutes they decided to take a sneak on the envelope that the strange man handed unto them, when they found out that it's just a newspaper, my sister shouted aloud on the street and rush to the "Budol Budol Gang" but they can find no one.
