This story is about the young man who has been lost in the desert for five days without anything to eat nor to drink. Until one day he saw the preacher's house, he crawled into the preacher's house and seek for a help. The preacher did care the young man, nurses him until the young man feels good. When the young man was completely fine, he asked the preacher if there's a village or a town nearby, the preacher did replay positively, "but the town is quite far from here" the preacher told the young man. The preacher offers his horse to the young man so that it wont get lost again on the desert and will take him as faster as it could. "But there is a condition if you want to ride with this horse" said the preacher, and continued "you need to say "thank GOD" to make it move, and say "AMEN" to make it stop." The young man understands the condition and very thankful to the preacher for the very great help. He prepared everything he will need while traveling, a few days later the young man has began his travel through the town, when he said "thank GOD" the horse starts to walk, a distance away from the preacher's house he said it again twice "thank GOD, thank GOD" the horse seems to move fast, then he realized that "what if I will shout "thank GOD" does it make the horse moves faster? Then he shout out loud saying "THANK GOD!" the horse is now running very fast, "THANK GOD! THANK GOD! THANK GOD!" the horse now runs extremely fast. The young man was so glad and very thankful to the preacher who helped him and of course GOD. Being in the state of gladness the young didn't notice the he was heading to a cliff, later on, when it was only a meters away he saw the cliff, he hurriedly stop the horse "whoa!" but the horse did not stop, he forgot that only saying "AMEN" makes the horse stop. He did everything he could just to stop the horse, but the horse still didn't stop, until then he remember what was the preacher told him to stop the horse, he then shout "AMEN!" Suddenly the horse stopped at the point where he shouted "AMEN". It was only inch away from the cliff and he almost thrown off from the horse because of the great speed. The young man's heart palpitate so fast, adrenaline rush, and sweat runs down from his head. He then breath so deep, and so thankful that he's still alive then he said "thank GOD."
This is not actually my story, I just read it from the religious bulletin in our school while falling in line for OSAD signing of clearance.
